So far this book looks pretty promising. The concepts an interesting one and what I've seen of the world so far is wonderful. Magic, court-life, secrets and lies are all ingredients for a fascinating, addictively compelling story in my book. The writing so far seems quite strong too with some beautiful descriptions dotted throughout. I'd love to learn more about the characters introduced so far and discover the truth behind Aderyn's mother's death. The promise of more mystical beings appeals to me too. So altogether this was definitely an intriguing, well written start that's left me wanting more.
