From the first line, 'A Throne of Swans' establishes itself to be engaging and well-written. Aderyn establishes herself as a smart and interesting heroine who will surely navigate the narrative of the book in a tactful way, and I can't wait to see how she develops later on into the novel! (And as a side note, the chapter headings are gorgeously designed.)
