A Throne of Swans left a a last first impression

I was intrigued to read the blurb and other details by the exquisite cover of the book; the gold and navy clashing of colour have the book a regal and ethereal feel to it that matched the premise of this fantasy.
Once I had read the first impression, I was left wanting to know more about this kingdom that needs protecting and how this young woman would grow into her role, as well as what secrets were doubtlessly waiting to be uncovered.
