Firstly, I adore the cover: it's subtle but detailed at the same time and in some of my favourite colours!
Secondly, the text itself is very lyrical, almost musical, and flows really well. It pulls you into the story and made me really want to know what happens next! The birds integrated into the world-building feels really unique and I hope we get to see many more of them and show how much variety there is.
