I really enjoyed this First Impression and would have been very happy to read on - no mean feat at the moment as my attention span is minimal and I have struggled with concentrating on reading for a couple of days.
For a debut this is nice and taut and the world building to combine the ruling class of bird shifters is well done and accomplished with only the broadest of descriptive terms but I still felt like I was in the story.
Really looking forward to this one.
