I’ve heard so much about this book and by the first look I can tell why!
It starts with the unfortunate passing of a young lady called Aderyn‘s father which In turn makes her the protector in place of her father and their family has such an interesting twist in that they turn into Swans!
It appears that people can transform into different animals based on their families and this is utterly fascinating. There is by the looks and issue with Aderyn in that she is flightless, making her vulnerable and if people were to find out she would be stripped of her lands and titles.
I’m intrigued by the Raven boy and wonder if it is Lancelins son! That would be really interesting and I’d imagine that their relationship is going to be intwined in some way. The sample ends in such a way that I want to read more! I’m hooked!
The writing style is lovely and very easy to follow, it’s descriptive and I’m of course hoping there’s a beautiful map to go with this story.
