I was highly anticipating this book when I first read about it before it’s release date in January. And let me just say it did not disappoint.

What I loved about this book is that it is not driven by the romance. Authors usually fall into the trap of focusing on the romantic while letting the fantasy and world building aspect take a back seat - Katharine and Elizabeth Corr did not do this.

When reading the synopsis I was happy to find that ‘A Throne of Swans’ was - for all intensive purposes- a unique story. The class system was fascinating as were the political intrigues.

Overall the book was highly unpredictable and kept me eagerly wanting to read on! What I loved was how easy a read this book was, their were not to many characters that I had to keep a track of that would randomly pop up. Instead more time was put into really getting the readers to know Aderyn.
