I really enjoyed the plot of this book, a world where nobility are able to transform into different birds dependant on their family.
The main character Aderyn is not able to transform due to an incident that resulted in the death of her mother. It was so well written following her journey as she tries to uncover what happened, and how she deals with not being able to transform and how that affects her every day life, and what actions she takes to ensure she can transform.
I really liked how this story was told, and the world it was set it, so wonderfully written.
The story was really well thought out, with lots of twists and turns along the way. If you like fantasy novels you will really enjoy this book!
