i had been meaning to read this book for a long time, so when i finally did, i was pleasantly surprised!
the magic system was definitely unique and i loved all of the shape shifting.
not to mention that the main character was a strong independent female badass and i loved her so much!! and can we talk about the cover?! why is it so pretty?!!
i did think that some parts of the book could have been developed a bit more and that would have made the world building a bit stronger- i was a bit confused in parts, but maybe that’s only me. either way i truly did enjoy this and i’ll definitely read the sequel whenever i manage to get my hands on it. if it’s anything like this i’ll be waiting a while haha
