I was captured from the start by this book, totally engrossed from the onset and found it hard to put down.
I rarely read fantasy like this but there was something about this book that made me want more and to keep going.
The story is really well written and within the first couple of chapters I felt like I had known Aderyn a long time and felt for her. The relationship she has with Letya is that that anyone would want, she's not just a hired help but a true friend and someone who looks out for her and has her back.
Kingdoms ran by shapeshifters of different birds, but what if you're flightless? What was going to happen to Aderyn if people found out, how long can she hide it?
There are many things going on within the story but it is easy to follow and certainly left me wanting more.
For anyone who loves a fantasy will really enjoy this.
