Where do I start? Absolutely STUNNING! This is the first book I have read in a very long time that made me want more! From the prologue to the last chapter, I was kept at the edge of my seat. Aderyn is such a complex, yet beautiful character. Followed by servants to her enemies, they swept me into their mysteriously dark world, where you can "trust no one but yourself".
A few chapters in, and you can kind of guess the ending, which is cheesy BUT a good thing as it just ends the first book right, and not with "needing more information" as many books in this genre sometimes leave you.
But even with that being said, the plot was intriguing and has made me excited for "a Throne of Talons". Well done to the authors!
