Throne of swans was a lovely breath of fresh air from the usual fantasy books I read. The world was new and exciting and unique. A quick and enjoyable read I couldn’t put it down and devoured it in a day! In this world there are those that can fly and those that cannot. Status is defined by whether you can transform or not, with the nobles being those that can fly and the flightless the servants. Aderyn was an interesting character who was still dealing with the grief of recently losing her father on top of the loss of her mother years before. We see Aderyn new to the position of protector with lucien at her side as her advisor it’s impossible for both us and aderyn to decide who to trust and who to not but that doesn’t stop you from trying. Throne of swans didn’t end on a massive cliff hanger but that doesn’t stop me from wanting to read the next book ASAP! This was the first book I’ve read by Katherine and Elizabeth Corr and I really enjoyed their writing style! Would recommend
