Upon reading the blurb for this I was intrigued to see how this idea would be played out. Unfortunately I have to see the idea of people turning into birds and vice versa really didn’t do it for me and then the introduction of dragons also became a bit far fetched and didn’t grab me.
The main character is likeable and has promise to develop the story as she is brave and courageous but in honesty, I didn’t really care to find out more as I wasn’t invested in the story. It may be a bit of a slow burner to begin with, but based on the sneak peek I read, it’s not something I would go out and buy.
The style of writing was good and descriptive enough to set the scene of a mystical time gone by scenario.
