Wow!
I began to read the extract of this wonderful book and was stricken almost straight away. I’ve always been a fan of first person narration, and this book certainly works in my favour! The main character Aeryn, seems strong and turbulent, someone you definitely need to keep a book like this running. Already, in the opening pages there is a lot of emotion present. The characters are well created, from what I can see, and dedicated. The opening page doesn’t mess about in trying to keep you in awe - it shocks you right from the outset! I can’t wait to see how the plot thickens and develops as I read on, I always live a plot twist and I have a small incline one might be present in this book. Fantasy has always been a genre I’ve really enjoyed, and this one looks like it is going to live up to my high expectations, what an exhilarating read it’s going to me!
