A Throne of Swans is an enchanting story about shapeshifting nobles, filled with secrets, courtroom dramas and betrayals. I admit I went into this book not knowing too much and happily so as it was a pleasant surprise to discover everything about the story as I read on. I'm a big fan of the fantasy genre but it is difficult to find a book that captivates me as much as this one did. I was constantly at the edge of my seat! The start was a little slow but the minute you get into the depth of things, the story progresses at such a speed that it is impossible to put the book down. I'm highly anticipating the next book in the series and cannot wait to see where the characters end up next. A definite 5/5 stars!
