I find these kinds of books a little hit and miss with me, but I truly loved this story and didn’t want it to end.

The style of writing was really easy to follow and engaging. I enjoyed the imagery and emotion conveyed by the authors, and could easily see this book on the big screen.

The central character Aderyn, is very likeable and overcomes her inability to transform due to post traumatic stress, by throwing herself into danger in an attempt to overcome her fears to save her friend. There are many points and phrases in this book that struck a cord with me, and I feel we can all take something from the meanings within this book.

This book is filled with deceit, action, treason, love (although not too much fishy stuff!) and heart break.

I do hope there is a sequel to his tale.
