A Throne of Swans follows the life of the main character, Aderyn. Aderyn is a teenager that can transform into a swan. However, after a traumatic event, she finds herself unable to do so. After her father dies, she becomes the throne, but not everyone seems to be happy about it and she must fight those people to protect her throne and her people.
When I read the first impression, I thought that this would be a great book. I love fantasy books and this one sounded very promising. But, I don’t know how I feel about it. It never really “got” me because it was quite predictable. It was not that exciting in my opinion. I love when a book leaves you wanting to know more, but with this one, you knew what was going to happen next most of the time. It is a nice read, I liked it but not my favourite.
