I'll be truely honest. For the first few pages I was ready to give up. It felt like all Aderyn did was whinge and moan. However because I was buddy reading this I decided to keep going. I'm so glad I did. While I complained about the slow start to my friends I soon found the tables changing. As soon as Aderyn began her adventures to the citadel I found my love for this book beginning.
As the plot started thickening and you learned more and more the excitement myself and the buddy group felt was amazing. Soon the whatsapp chat became nothing more than screaming gifs, multiple OMFG's or from myself more than one HOLY F**KING S**T BALLS 🤦♀️😂😂
I absolutely loved the politics of the story and found this interesting to read and cant wait for the second one to prob deeper.
I also loved Aderyns bond with her lady in waiting/best friend Letya and thought that scenes with the two of them were great.
If anyone needs me I'll just be here waiting very impatiently for Book 2 😂😂.
