When I read the first impression, I was excited to read more. I really enjoyed the worldbuilding in the book. I liked how it was set up with the shapeshifters/fliers ruling the world and the flightless being ruled over. However I really didn’t like the main character and that coloured my enjoyment of the book. I just found her annoying and my dislike of her made me dislike her romance. Also I really don’t like love triangles but that’s just me. I found the book to be predictable too and similar to other YA books that have the same theme. Overall I found this to be an okay read and I wish I could have enjoyed it more than I did. Hopefully this book is loved by others but it just wasn’t for me.
