OMG! I finally found another 5 stars book. I fell in love from the first pages. The world building is amazing. From their describe, the Citadel sounds like a wonderful place and I really wish to see it. I enjoyed the idea of shape-shifters, nobles that can change their form in different birds.
I love how Aderyn grown up from the girl who couldn't go further from her castle to a young lady who does everything for her people and for her home. From the bigging her advisor, Lucien told her to trust nobody and in a place full with cruel nobles for Aderyn's hard to find a friendly face. I didn't know who to trust neither.
The writing is like a spell, it makes you to read more and more till you find the ending. And at the end I was devastated. Not just because of how the book ends but more because I found out the next book will come out in 2021.
