A Throne of Swans is the first instalment of Katharine and Elizabeth Corr's young adult fantasy duology. It was a well-written, fast-paced, enjoyable read with outstanding (and unexpected) plot twists, humour, and just the right amount of romance, in my opinion. I adored the ingenious, one-of-a-kind magic scheme involving birds, which is linked to the form of the society in this novel. In the definitive sequel A Crown of Talons, I can't wait to see how the plot thickens and what happens to Aderyn, Odette, Lucien, and Aron. A Throne of Swans is a must-read for anyone who enjoys Young Adult fantasy novels like Holly Black's The Folk of the Air. I'll be reading more of these writers in the future.
So therefore i think this is a very fantastic read if you want to get out of a difficult reading slump, it definitely got me out of it. i hope others enjoy it too
