Well I didn’t see that coming! Found myself in a medieval castle era at a deathbed & then found that the people could shape shift into birds!!!
But why can’t the new “protector” change into a swan!?!? If not it seems she will be punished! (By her seemingly “evil” uncle who...wait for it...is the king!!
Then if it wasn’t exciting enough in came a dragon to boot - very intriguing & mysterious! Can’t wait to continue the story to see what happens next!!!
Easy to read & good introduction to the different characters so far.
The title was my first attraction & I wasn’t disappointed to find why it is called so! Why is what I take to be the main character the only swan left & WHY can’t she shape shift into a swan no longer (or did she ever!?)
