Slow start but worth the time to get to the finish.
I was really intrigued with this book initially by the colour but then when I read the synopsis and first look on readers first I knew immediately had to read this.
When I read the first hundred or so Pages I was starting to think that my initial excitement for this book was about to fizzle our. I persevered and I was so happy I did.
The world is so beautifully flushed out that I found myself dying to visit this beautiful world full of magic. The magic system was so simple but absolutely gorgeous with an emphasis on the transformation of birds that I would absolutely love more of.
This book was full of so many twists and turns that I did not see coming. Every time I thought I had the plot figured out it then turned on it’s head and went in a completely different direction.
