It was ok- don’t get me wrong the plot was good and all that but I don’t think it was very memorable and I don’t think that the characters were so well developed that I could form any sort of connection to them. I never bought the second book because I didn’t feel like I would like it if it was anything like the first one. It is a standing fantasy book and nothing about it stands out as all that good. The ending was ok but I didn’t think anything about the plot was unexpected or very well done in terms of how new it was. It was all very standard but it’s a nice little read if you just want something light and comfortable without having to think to much about it really. I would recommend to young teens as I think they would enjoy it, however personally i thought it was just ok but boring to bad or good about it. The storyline was quite well done and very easy to get.
