To start of, I believe that this book has a lot of potential. The prologue and the first chapter gave you a glimpse into the world and the main character, who seems very strong willed and independent.
Even though you only get a brief glimpse into the world of the book, you can tell that there will be quite a bit of political intrigue when she arrives at the capital.
You also met (what I assume to be) the main characters love interest. You can tell from the brief conversation that they have that they are going to be butting heads throughout their journey to the capital and while navigating their way around the Citadel.
Overall, I am intrigued to read more of this book and get to know the characters more, watch them grow and see where the course of this book and the sequel take them. This is definitely a book that I think I won’t be able to put down easily.
