I wasn't 100% certain about this book from the blurb, but I decided to give the first impression a read anyway.
I'm really glad I did as the writing style is easy to read and flows at a good pace making you feel like you can't help but read on.
It did feel like there was slightly too much deliberate exposition at the start, but the characters were convincing and likeable straight away so I found myself forgiving it and reading on and eventually getting quite hooked and intrigued as to why I was hooked.
I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of the story unfolds as while initially the blurb didn't grab me the main character certainly has and I look forward to finding out where the story takes her.
