Really enjoyed this delightful fantasy book. Such a super idea to have noble families be able to shapeshifter into birds. This Swan Lake inspired story was brilliantly done.
Aderyn was a likeable and feisty main character in this tale that had everything going for it, royalty, revenge, romance (although not too much of this, it was well done). The bad guys were properly villainous too which is always nice.
Super writing that meant you could really sympathise with Aderyn and understand her actions. She always had a reason for the steps she took.
I look forward to reading the next book in this series even if it will likely be a bit of a wait! Thank you for the opportunity to read and review.
