The beginning is just wow and I can't wait to read the rest. The descriptions are beautifully written and I can imagine everything the main character sees through her words. Of course I am curious to know whether she will remain flightless or this will change further on in the book. I am on a myths and fairy tales kick at the moment so this book certainly fits that description. I'm not sure whether I like Aderyn thus far as she seems to be a little closed off and arrogant especially with poor Letrys but I am hoping that her character will develop into a more loving and likeable character as I read further into the book. I'm also quite excited about the politics of the Court and how she will handle herself once she gets there. Hopefully she will be a strong female character that fights for her home and doesn't end up relying on a Male character too much.
