The start is very mysterious and unsettling and I want to find out more about all the characters and storylines introduced. Is a woman or her spirit trapped somehow? Who is she and what happened to her? It seems that Kelly Castle is a common link between the storylines. What is Caro going to discover and will it put her or her daughter in danger? Will she gain some independence from her mother-in-law, or find herself under even more scrutiny and alienated from her husband? Presumably she will discover something connected to Charlotte's story in the 1800s and the ill-fated Franklin expedition. Are the rumours of cannibalism true? What do the Eskimos know?
