I loved how this book went backwards and forwards throughout the years - the centuries. Different stories told in parallel and wondering how they would intertwine as the book unfolds.
I absolutely loved the main character, Caro, and how right from the get go she came across as strong, spirited, and open minded. I raced through these first few pages.
