I initially just loved the colours of the cover and was enticed by that. But after reading that opening chapter, I had to keep reading and find out who the girl begging to be found was!
I also really liked the parallel of Caro and Charlotte’s lives - very different times but they’re clearly both strong willed women I can’t wait to read more of.
