I found the settings of this book beautifully descriptive. The simple cottage in Fife, the grand castle.
I’m not sure about the characters yet, but I’m intrigued to see what happens when Caro begins investigating the family records.
It’s quite easy to read, but would take me a few chapters to remember who’s who and get the hang of the different time periods.
