The writing style was what I first fell in love with during this beautiful book, with the story truly coming to life off the pages as a result of the great writing. The way that the scenes, characters and atmosphere have been described by the author are for me, what made this book worth reading and will be a main reason I urge others to read it to.
The relatable plot also makes for a story that you are able to connect to. It follows a new mum who is trying to learn the ways of this new life and how tragedy strikes her life. The unexpected and heart wrenching turns in this book make it constantly interesting and allow to the reader to become emotionally attached to all the characters involved. If you don't shed a tear through this book I will be shocked.
