I was slightly apprehensive about this book and found myself constantly turning to pick up a different book. However I finally decided that I would “just get it over with” and I am glad I did. It was fantastic, written really well and ready gripping! I loved the cultural differences and especially one as so drastically different, I loved that there was a history to the book as well there being 2 stories running parallel to each other. thought it was a really good story and each character was so interesting. I appreciated that it was clearly well thought out and researched going into real detail on the history and culture.
The author is a new author to me and I don’t think this one will be the only one on my shelf. I have recommended this to some of my friends and have also lent them a copy. If you’re looking for a really interesting love and mystery story this one is for you.
