A crime drama opening with a medical drama in a hospital, absolute goldmine.
I was hooked from the opening pages immersed into whether this was a crime drama or a gritty hospital story, and the pace just did not let up in the opening pages of this first impression.
Sarah the Protagonist, the depiction of the busy emergency room and then the skip forward to a Trial, all seemed so vivid in so few words and it was neatly rounded off with the cliffhanger and hints at a darker past and deeper story.
