I throughly enjoyed reading After that night by Karin Slaughter, and would live to read some more of her work.
This story fallows sara lintons life which was changed forever 15 years ago when she was raped. Since then she has remade her lufe and become a successful doctor and engaged to man she loves. She has finally managed to put that terrible time behind her until she is at work one night in the ER and a young women comes in who has been brutally assaulted. When she can’t save her she makes a promise to get justice for her which opens up a massive case and she soon finds that the young womens attack is somehow linked to her own.
This is a hard hitting book about brutal rapes and abuse which i think is very well written about. The author has clearly done alot of research to be able to talk about this subject the way she has. Absolutely fantastic story
