I have been dipping in and out of the Will Trent and Sara Linton series, and have loved all of the ones I've read so far. However, this has probably been my favourite. Despite being well into the series now, I've not read them all or in order and I've still thoroughly enjoyed this read as it's own. I especially like continually learning new things of their characters and knowing there's always more to learn about them.

After that Night is a dark and gripping read, and I flew through it. It feels as though the end of every chapter reveals a new connection that makes you feel as though you need to read on immediately.

I love the FMCs in this book. Sara shows so much strength and resilience, despite her hesitance to rehash her own past, she fights for what's right and is also considerate and supportive of Wills profession.

The friendships, the relationships, the cases and the characters. For me, this book has it all.
