This was a great page turner with a gripping fast moving plot, with a lot of twists and turns.
All of the characters are well written, and are all flawed in their own way, as indeed all people are which makes them believable and draws you into their world. Even the unpleasant character like Britt who is presented like a first-class b**ch also has issues which raises a certain element of empathy.
We are thrown into drama straight away when Sara, a doctor has an emergency patient, Dani, whose dying words were to tell of her rape. Sara then took it to heart and with her police boyfriend, Will, and friend Faith, another cop start to investigate Dani's rape and uncover a lot of surprising twists along the way. Lots of drama and lots of grit.
This is the first Karin Slaughter book I have read but I think I may seek out some of her other work. A great read.
