After reading previous Karin Slaughter books, and really enjoying them, I was thrilled to get hold of a copy of this book, and I was not disappointed. This is another roller coaster of a read.
This is a Sara Linton and Will Trent, story which does cover themes of rape and violent abuse.
Sara a successful doctor has buried her past and regained her life, then one night whilst working in the hospital she tries to save the life of a young woman, what that woman says to her that night sends Sara on a mission to find out the truth. Will Trent investigates and Sara soon realises that what happened to this woman is linked to what happened to her all those years ago. Slowly the truth comes out.
A bit of a chilling read, but one that will grip you and keep you turning the pages until the last one is reached. I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it!
