What a rollercoaster read!
I received this as an ARC through Readers First, and I haven't read any previous Sara Linton/ Will Trent series books. I've now ordered the set off the back of this latest novel.
Excellent pacing, witty and believable characters in Dr Linton and the members of the GBI that you can get invested in, and a plot that is so well structured and thought out it had me guessing to the very end. I couldn't put this down!
We follow the aftermath of a tragic death of a young woman on Dr Linton's watch, and the circumstances lead her back to her own awful past experiences and people she knew when medically training. A behind the scenes investigation ensues, and the threads begin to unwind until a horrific truth is uncovered.
Perfect edge of your seat thriller, with a feel of a CSI episode. You will not be disappointed adding this to your TBR list.
