The return of Sara Linton and Will Trent is marked by a dark and frightening story that also looks back into Sara's troubled past. It's matched by the cast of characters we've come to know so well with developments in Faith's life. Will and Sara have lost some of the tweeny meh of their lurve story which is a relief, and there's more maturity than before which was quite childish, And it's always good to be back in the company, however brief, of Amanda, with a cameo from Evelyn. And as for the author, she is the suspense queen and so it is so interesting to read her books!!
I love the way she introduces the characters to the audience who have either read the previous books, or this may be a new series to them. Her language creates suspense and that goes along side the characters and so you don’t know who to favour. It would get 5 stars but i sense something is missing…
