Thanks for the opportunity to read this book in the Will Trent series, I have read quite a few of these books but not all of them, In saying that I must admit that this book could very easily be read as a standalone and still be very enjoyable.
There are quite a few triggers in this book and so I would recommend that you check these up before you delve in if you are bothered by these.
So this story is Sarah Linton who was brutally attacked 15 years ago she has now worked hard to become a doctor and has done her best to move on from what had happened to her.
One evening, when Sara is on call at the ER she battles to help a girl who has been brutally attacked. As the investigation progresses it becomes very clear that the assault is very similar to Saras attack from years ago and now she is dealing with things all over again.
This was a fantastic book and I highly recommend!
