I love Karin Slaughter, her books are always fast-paced, exciting and the stories quickly draw you into the action. This one sounds just as good and I'm really looking forward to reading it. She writes great characters, with very strong female leads and she's one of the best authors at keeping the reader's interest going so they have to keep turning the pages to find out what's going to happen. The settings are always believable too, so you can immerse yourself in the world of the book easily and see everything that is going on in the pages. I always love a good page-turner in the genres of crime and thriller and you can always rely on Karin Slaughter to deliver on this. She's one of my go to authors for this kind of book. If you enjoy her style, I'd also recommend you read books by T M Logan, along with Tess Gerritsen, Val McDermid, Ann Cleeves, Nicci French and Lisa Jewell.
