Karin Slaughter is a top writer of crime fiction. She can do little wrong in my eyes and in the eyes of her many thousands of fans.

She seems to have it all at the point that the book opens - she's an established and successful doctor and is engaged to the man she loves. What could possibly go wrong? Well, if you've read Karin Slaughter before, you'll know that there's plenty that can and will!
Give me a Karin Slaughter any time - she always writes an engrossing page turner that is both hair raising and heart warming. Agent Will Trent is a real winner - he's got trauma in his own life and a real skill at detecting. Along side her other books from the Grant County series, it gets a high score for me. I haven't read this yet but I know I'm in for a treat when I do.
