I quite liked this first impression. It was easy to read, and the character of Adelaide Buchwald seemed very likeable. The blurb mentions Adelaide's brother having overdosed, but so far he is just referred to as being 'very sick'. No doubt light will be cast upon everything as the story progresses. This one has potential...
