Again, Again is a beautifully written coming of age story with everything you’d expect to find in a contemporary novel. We follow Adelaide, a young adult juggling being a teenager and the drama of teenage love, with a complicated home life. Her character is relatable and I can see myself reflected in her.
This book has the potential to be emotional, as it portrays real issues in a realistic way. The story is also injected with humour and I found a smile creeping on my face on numerous occasions. This novel includes dogs, romance and is about self discovery - what’s not to love?! Overall I believe this novel makes a perfect coming of age story. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
