A fantastic opening making me desperate to read more!
This is an emotive read and fantastic start to another E. Lockheart masterpiece. If the rest of the story is as brilliant as this, it's going to be incredible.
Adelaide has fallen in and out of love and is deeply miserable. Pretending to be mature about her break up is easier to her than showing that she feels ready to crumble inside. She's not herself at all when she sees a familiar figure on the road whilst walking dogs. It's only one world this happens in though, other things are happening in parallel ones at the same time...
I loved the concept that there are numerous worlds where people who are only just meeting are already in love. It has so much potential and I definitely want to read this book after the fantastic extract!
