I quite liked the story and the characters as they seemed 'normal' and were doing normal things on the college campus. But there is always more to people than their public face.

The one thing I didn't really understand was the various flashes to 'other universes' where different scenes played out with different outcomes. I wasn't sure what the objective was with that but it didn't detract from the overall story.
