This book took me by a surprise. I wasn't expecting this type of writing style and plot to thicken but also keep my right on my toes with still maintaining that lovely and sweet tone. I really enjoyed the depth of the characters and the inner monologue and how each scene unfolded before us. The writing style is very easy to get swept up in and was quite enjoyable when reading it. Some parts were a bit boring as the pace seemed to drop here and there but over all the entire story was one that I loved to read and still recommend to others who like E. Lockhart's other works like We Were Liars. Like both books, the characters are relatable but still holds a twinge of mystery that is always amazing to read about.
