Good quick read

This was a very bittersweet quick read.

I have never read anything by this author before but have heard brilliant things. This perhaps wasn't the best book to be my first as it was a little odd. I didn't understand the different alternate paragraphs but they began to make more sense in the end.
I found it did give a nice touch it was just confusing at first.

I grew quite close to Adelaide I desperately wanted her to just be happy and to figure things out. I also was screaming at my book for her to just do her damn homework. Why was it so difficult for Adelaide to be happy. It seemed to take her a while to really figure things out and reading a couple different alternate universe endings near the end of the book felt good however bittersweet they were.

The ending was good I quite enjoyed that it was all happy and everything turned out for the bets. I think the ending was what Adelaide needed. She was happy in a way she had figured things out and she had certainly grown as a woman. I greatly look forward to reading more by e.lockhart
